ABOUT THE RECIPE

This smoothie is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals from the mixed berries and spinach, while the banana adds natural sweetness and creaminess. Greek yogurt provides protein and probiotics, and chia seeds add fibre and healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Feel free to customise the recipe by adding your favourite super-fruits or adjusting the sweetness to your liking. Cheers to a refreshing and nutritious smoothie!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)

  • 1 medium-sized banana

  • 1 cup spinach leaves

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

  • Ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)

PREPARATION

Step 1

Wash all the fruits and spinach leaves thoroughly.


Step 2

Peel the banana and break it into smaller chunks.


Step 3

In a blender, add the mixed berries, banana, spinach leaves, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and honey (if desired).


Step 4

Pour in the almond milk.


Step 5

Blend all the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can also add a few ice cubes.


Step 6

Once blended to your desired consistency, pour the smoothie into a glass or drink straight from the cup.


Step 7

You can optionally garnish the smoothie with a sprinkle of chia seeds or a few berries on top.
