INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced

  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled and chopped

  • 1/2 avocado, pitted and scooped

  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 cup coconut water (or filtered water)

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

PREPARATION

Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and chop them. Peel the cucumber and avocado, and cut them into small pieces. Peel and grate the ginger, and slice the banana. Gather all the ingredients in one place.


Blend the Greens: In a blender, add the fresh spinach leaves and coconut water (or filtered water). Blend until you get a smooth green base.


Add the Fruits and Vegetables: Now, add the sliced banana, chopped cucumber, pineapple chunks, avocado, and grated ginger to the green base in the blender.


Boost with Chia Seeds: Sprinkle the chia seeds on top of the other ingredients in the blender.


Squeeze in Lemon Juice: Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the mixture for a tangy twist.
