The healthy Banana and Berry Oatmeal Smoothie offers numerous health benefits. INGREDIENTS


  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup frozen berries (such as blueberries, strawberries, or mixed berries)

  • 1 tablespoon descimated coconut (optional, for added nutrition and sweetness)

  • 1 cup ice cubes

PREPARATION

Step 1

In a blender, add the rolled oats and blend until they form a fine powder.


Step 2

Add the ripe banana, almond milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if desired), vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, frozen berries, and chia seeds (if using) to the blender.


Step 3

Blend the ingredients on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.


Step 4

Add the ice cubes to the blender and continue blending until the smoothie becomes chilled and thick.


Step 5

Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or cinnamon level if needed. You can add more honey, cinnamon, or vanilla extract according to your preference and blend briefly to incorporate.


Step 6

Once the smoothie reaches your desired consistency, pour it into a glass or drink straight from your Fresh Juice Blender.
